Our story

Founded in 1993, Orchid Gallery of Pittsboro, NC is a specialty tropical plant nursery and a provider of botanical services for orchid and flower admirers. We grow thousands of orchids in our tropical greenhouses. We rent user friendly orchid arrangements for businesses and homes throughout central North Carolina. We invite the public to come check out our current selection of orchids and other tropical plants at our greenhouses in Pittsboro, NC. You can also visit the working studio of Rita Baldwin. Here we offer group talks and tours for garden clubs and offer classes from experts on orchid growing, floral designs, the art of ikebana, painting, and other arts. Our professionals are excellent in sharing how they create and what inspires them. We also have a store in downtown Cary where we display our orchids, flower arrangements, tropical plants, paintings, and more.
